Our son Austin's eczema has since cleared up and we are weaning him off of the Dr.'s cream. We were told he would likely grow out of it by age 2 and he is 8 months now so we are grateful for his healing and thank God and our family for praying for him. I should note that after trying many creams, lotions, etc. - the only thing that worked was the 1% hydrocortisone cream and 2.5% for the trouble spots (back of knees, ankles, wrists, elbows, cheeks). Wearing long sleeve shirts and pants to limit scratching also helps though you must be careful not to get to hot. Fragrance free everything, non irritating detergent for laundry etc. This is a funny video of him sleeping with what looks like his eyes wide open. Kind of freaky.
